Surgery Tomorrow!

We are scheduled to arrive at the hospital tomorrow at 6 am for an 8 am surgery time. Sunny will be undergoing the same procedure as last time, except on the left leg this time. The doctor will again be attempting to do both the femur and the tibia in one operation. Please join us in praying these things for tomorrow:




1. Everyone involved would rest in the fact that the Lord is over and in control of this operation.


2. Sunny’s doctor’s name is Dr. Shenava. Please pray for her by name.


3. Please pray that the blood loss is minimal and that she would need no blood transfusions this time.


4. Please pray the doctors are able to move quickly and get both bones done, eliminating the need for another surgery 6 weeks from now.


5. Please pray for Sunny’s recovery and that her hemoglobin will bounce back up immediately after surgery.


6. Pray for Catcher, Jesse and Sunny who will be missing mommy for four days.






Thank you all for your support and prayers. I will be updating the blog during the procedure like I did last time. Should be about 6 hours of surgery. I will remember my camera as well so I can send updates of the patient! Here are a few pics from the last 6 weeks.

Sunny's cast goes from her ankle up around her hips, all the way to her ribs.  This is as straight up as she can get.
